This is a great new addition, that lets you always be prepared without having to dig through menus between deaths! By clicking the class emblem in the lower left section of the selection screen, you can cycle between 3 saved loadouts. Now, you can have multiple loadouts saved. You might like playing a certain class, but depending on the map and your enemies, your loadout might need to change to compensate for what the other team is doing. One of the annoying parts of older Battlefield games was constantly adjusting your loadout. They also take a considerable amount of time to complete, making them a balanced new addition to the game. Self repairs are very useful, as the vehicles in Battlefield 1 are more prone to taking damage, due to their weaker, older construction. Also, any damage you receive while trying to repair will cancel it. However, during this time, you lose control of your vehicle, so make sure you are safe. Once full, you will fix any broken parts on your vehicle and gain around 25 health. The second type of repair requires you to hold down a specific button. This kind of repair goes off instantly, restoring a small amount of health, then has a long cooldown. The best thing you can do is get out there and play!įor those of us out there who love the vehicular combat, there is a big new addition to the game that can go completely overlooked. The game mode is so unique, and fun to play that it's tough to sum up in words. That's right, Operations takes place over 2 and even 3 maps.

It has Rush style objectives, but the maps are condensed, making the action fast and unrelenting. Firstly, Operations is a mix of all the game modes. It takes a long time to play, but it's worth it! Before we talk about the many benefits of the game mode, we will say that Operations takes a long time to play, with some matches lasting over an hour. Operations is a large scale battle, held out over several maps. However, off to the side is a new tab called Operations, and it may very well be the best new game mode added to Battlefield 1! When you hop into Multiplayer, most people will go directly to Quick Match or Server Browser to find a game and start playing.
